Market Update: Gitcoin (not Bitcoin) Presents
NFT traders went bonkers on Gitcoin Presents. This NFT drop was purely intended to raise funds for public goods funding on Gitcoin. But traders viewed it as an opportunity to play a game of "Greater Fool Theory", pumping prices over 10X from their mint price.
Machi Big Brother, an NFT whale, accumulated >1,000 of these Gitcoin Presents. This space never ceases to entertain.

Ma, We're Going On Another Trip
๐ฒ What to know: Yuga Labs, the team behind Bored Apes, announced that the Otherside: 2nd Trip will take place on 25 March (Sunday).
The Otherside is Yuga Lab's 3D, open metaverse game currently in development.
โ๏ธ In the weeds: The Otherside 1st Trip happened 7 months ago in July 2022. It was an interactive tech demo of sorts. During the 1st Trip, participants were able to log into the metaverse, do a few simple quests, and work together to defeat an evil Koda. Over 4,600 people participated in the 1st trip.
If you were there, it felt like a rock concert. What's really cool was that so many people were able to log into the same virtual space at the same time with almost no lag. It broke a world record for the concurrent number of players in a virtual space.
So our expectations are high for the 2nd Trip. We expect Yuga Labs to showcase their development progress over these months and wow the audiences with easter eggs and a uber-cool experience.
During the 2nd Trip, people holding Otherdeed NFTs will be able to participate and also bring along a guest. This is a real-time virtual event and first-come-first-served so you need to be there on time if you intend to participate.
๐ค Why it matters: Voyagers who attend the 2nd Trip will earn a First Trip Obelisk piece, so if you're a fan of the ecosystem it's a must-do. This Obelisk piece could lead to future benefits and activations... who knows?
On the Otherside roadmap, there are 11 stages outlined in the Voyager's Journey. We are just getting to stage 2 right now: The Codex, where owners can link their land NFTs to do... what? We're not sure.
One thing is for sure: Yuga Labs is the master of suspense.
